Hi and thank you for visiting my official website SpacePoet.com.

I am a web designer, graphic artist, flash animator, guitarist/singer/songwriter, fine artist, and poet currently residing in Chester County, PA.

There's a lot more to me than my artistic and music pursuits, but my primary use of SpacePoet.com is showcasing my life, career, and lifestyle in the arts.

I began SpacePoet.com when I started studying website design and website development in 1998 while living in Malvern, PA. At that point, it was merely an educational tool while I learned HTML, CSS, style sheets, JavaScript, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and Flash techniques.

Then I realized what a powerful marketing tool this site could be for my music, fine art, and poetry, and any web design and graphic arts projects I might be contracted to do.

I was playing my original songs at coffeehouses and bars in Manayunk, Philadelphia, Cherry Hill, NJ, and other places in Montgomery and Chester Counties. So I started posting my gig dates on here. And people came. Now that I've advanced as a web designer, I'm able to allow visitors to stream my songs off the site. And buy them if they choose. It will be interesting to see how this site helps my music career in the future.

And what a great place to display my oil paintings, illustrations, and cartoons. I get requests from people and businesses asking to see my work when I seek freelance art opportunities. All I have to do is send them this website link. It doesn't always land the project, but it has been a great way for me to get my foot in the door.

I like to write poetry and song lyrics. My site has also been a wonderful place to publish my poems and prose.

I view SpacePoet.com as an online autobiography of a life in progress.
